Aging Our Whiskey with the Tides

Our whiskey will be aged with the tides of the Chesapeake Bay in mind. Our inspiration is beyond just the daily high and low tides, but also the seasonal and unique tides.

When our new-make fills a barrel, we will make note of what the current tide is. For example, if we fill on a “Low Tide October 2025”, we will mark the barrel with that information. The barrel will first go into the store house for aging and then when it is time to dump the barrel, we can only dump it on an October Low Tide.

What makes us unique comes from that process of letting the local tides determine when we finish aging our whiskey.
