The Grain

Choosing the correct grain is extremely important to ensure it meets high standards to make exceptional spirits. In addition to choosing high quality grains to distill, we will also work with and support local farms to support "keeping it local" as much as possible. 

• Initially, grains will be need to be sourced while building relationships with local farmers in the area.

• The objective is to move to 100% locally sourced corn from farmers in the SOMD area. While getting all grain locally sourced would be the most ideal scenario, some grains do not propagate as well in our area as others. 

• Spent grains after the production process go back to local farmers for their livestock at no cost.
